Bill Bly

Bill graduated in 1973 from Brandon Valley High School.

Bill was "one of the very top football players that I coached at Brandon Valley," according to Hall of Fame coach, Glenn Sellevold.  He started on the football team for three years as a linebacker and offensive guard.  He led the Lynx in tackles all three years and was twice the team co-captain and Most Valuable Defensive player.  His accolades include being named to the All-State team twice.

Bill was also a varsity wrestler for five years, lettering three times and leading the team as a co-captain twice.

After graduating from the University of South Dakota, Bill came back to the Brandon Valley School District area to farm with his brothers.

Bill and his brothers continue to be active with Brandon Valley athletics, in donating the pig for the live auction at the annual Pigskin Classic football game.
